Bounce outs to be reshot.  Not everyone sees exactly where the arrow rebounded off the target.

I like it.  You are right not everyone is looking at it.

spoken like a man with eyesight equal to mine...old and blurry.
i have to agree, with the additional caveat that if everyone in the group agrees, then score it based on their call.

I agree with most of what you said  Kelly.

The damaged arrow though might be a problem.  I shoot pin nocks and have had the pin hit and the nock busted.  I usually don't shoot the arrow again until after the shoot but I can repair it in the field if I wanted to.  So the arrow can be shot again.  I could see this being a problem if two are going for the win.  Now if carbon is hanging out everywhere there would be no argument.

I still think there should be a time frame for the move down but based on shooting ASA not if you quit shooting for the same amount of time and try to come back.  Kind of like the "last year of competition" rule in place now.  Maybe say "After two years of competition in a higher class if contestant has not won money they may then have the right to move back to their previous class."  I think the Novice classes should stay the same as they are only classes above this level should apply.

I can see doing away with the $5000 lifetime rule.

I like the move down rule just the way it is. Because a shooter could leave ASA and go to ibo or NFAA and continue to shoot, then come back to ASA and move down. So I would rather the move down rule remain unchanged.

I would like to see the K50 renamed Known Pro. Because that is what the class really is and what is was suppose to be. If the name is going to continue to be K50 and considered a semi-pro/armature class. Then no one who shoots or has shot pro in ASA or ANY other archery origination should be allowed to shoot in the K50.

I would like to see the glance out rule changed also. If the hit arrow is deemed unshootable/damaged by the group, then you get the score of the
arrow that you hit or where the arrow stuck, which ever is higher.

I would like to see witnessed pass throughs scored where the arrow passed through at not just a ten.

So the 2010 season is done let's talk about rule changes you would want to see next year.

The $5000 lifetime I think should be removed.  With the move up rules the way they are I think it is outdated and not so relevant.  Think about it if you won an average of $40 every shoot since ASA started you would have to shoot SP or Pro now.

I would also like to see the rule about moving down modified that if you win out of a class you cannot move back down to it for two years and have not won any money.  As it stands now you cannot move back unless the CC lets you.

What are some others guys and gals.  Let's have a nice discussion.

Dang, you one of those fashion designers to!  Wait till Billy finds out. laugh laugh laugh laugh

Me? A fashion designer?  laugh  Jeans, tennis shoes (they call them "running shoes" now), t-shirt and ball hat and I'm dressed for anything from going to church or meeting Miss Universe.  The first time I wore a collared shirt in I don't know how long was at the ProAm this year.
